In early March OSM Fiji had advertised a call for volunteers for field data collection and validation exercises. This exercise is the final part of OSM Fiji’s HOTOSM Facebook Community Impact Microgrant from 2021.
We will be using a select group of these volunteers to both collect and validate existing OSM data focused on the Suva city center. We would like to extend our gratitude to all those who had applied and apologize for not being able to select all applicants. OSM Fiji and the project volunteers are excited to meet those who have made the commitment to not only improving Fiji’s OSM data, but also contribute to the wider community as volunteers.
OSM Fiji’s field validation and data collection exercise will be conducted in late April till the end of May 2022.
